"REAL INTEGRITY IS DOING THE RIGHT THING, KNOWING THAT NOBODY IS GOING TO KNOW WHETHER YOU DID IT OR NOT."
-- Oprah Winfrey
"THE IDEALS WHICH HAVE LIGHTED MY WAY, AND TIME AFTER TIME HAVE GIVEN ME NEW COURAGE TO FACE LIFE CHEERFULLY, HAVE BEEN KINDNESS, BEAUTY AND TRUTH."
-- Albert Einstein, scientist

Your personal values are extremely important factors as you decide who you are, what you do, what you think and what you want to be. Perhaps the most powerful personal value is integrity. You can get integrity if you have strong ethical or moral principles and follow them consistently. For example, you always will try to tell the truth, to keep your word and stick to your beliefs if you think they're right.
You should never compromise your integrity or "cut corners" to meet a performance expectation or requirement. Being true to yourself and to your beliefs will give you a sense of independence. But having integrity demands courage, and can be lonely. You might be the only person who is speaking out or taking action.
Integrity helps you to succeed. You also should do your best to be:
Respectful — Listening to people with your eyes and your ears, while also keeping your self-respect.
Responsible — Acknowledging your mistakes, recovering fast, and staying positive. For instance, take a correction as a compliment.
Thankful — Showing your appreciation to those around you
Loyal -- Remaining faithful to anybody who is depending on you.
Compassionate -- Being ready to help anybody who is in need.
Considerate -- Sacrificing your interests for the welfare of others.
Fair -- Treating others equally, impartially and in a reasonable way.
.
Respect for Family

"Family is the most important thing in the world."
-- British Princess Diana

Parents and relatives can be your best teachers, as well as role models -- on a day-to-day basis and less often in stressful times. Here are suggestions to consider:
Acknowledge what other people have to say.
Support and encourage
family member activities.
Set a good example. Your actions reflect on your parents and siblings.
Share your feelings, ask questions, show interest.
Speak honestly but be polite with a positive attitude.
Take care of your family's property , especially the home.
